Sculptures


The Discobolus of Myron  is a famous Greek sculpture that was completed towards the end of the Severe period, circa 460-450 BC.

Abraham Lincoln (1920) is a colossal seated figure of U.S. President Abraham Lincoln (1809–1865) by Daniel Chester French (1850–1931) and carved by the Piccirilli Brothers. It is situated in the Lincoln Memorial (constructed 1914–22), on the National Mall, Washington, D.C., USA, and was unveiled in 1922.

The Thinker also known as the poet is one of the most famous sculptures in bronze by Auguste Rodin.
  The poet, was part of a committee of the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris to create amonumental portal based on Dante's Divine Comedy.

A Gorgeous Town

Waterfall "El Salto"

These pictures were taked by Martin Sanchez on September 28, 2011. It is a beautiful landscape is surrounded by plants and animals, a waterfall that is visited and admired everyday by townspeople and tourists. This waterfall is located in the village of San Andres Ixtlan, Jalisco, and is known since the first settlersarrived in the town.
